Heightened levels of uncertainty, complexity and change is causing people to re-evaluate the role of work in their lives. People want to consciously integrate work into their lives and experience a sense of meaning from what they do.

Leadership is a primary mechanism through which this is achieved. While each individual has their own motivations and personal goals, great leaders manage to find a common ground that allows everyone to work towards agreed outcomes.
