30-minute virtual keynoteBhutan: What leaders and organisations can learn from the land of happiness

The Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan pioneered an alternative development paradigm called Gross National Happiness (GNH) as a measure of their success rather than GDP. The concept has captured the attention of people from around the world sparking conversations and actions that view our society and organisations in a more humanistic, holistic and heartening way.

As we collectively struggle with the poly-crisis that grips our world, alternative perspectives like GNH provide an inspiration for how we can run our societies and organisations in a different way.

Join us for a unique journey that is part cultural, part educational and totally inspiring.

This keynote will provide:

  • An overview of Bhutan and the history that led to the emergence of GNH
  • An introduction to the 4 domains and 9 pillars of GNH
  • Insights from the inaugural GNH Global Forum held in Bhutan at the end of 2025 attended by Edwin
